I was entertained one morning last week as I watched a squirrel trying to get to some of my bird suet and bird seed. As these were squirrel proof feeders the squirrel’s frantic behavior was getting him no breakfast. But he was relentless, searching for some way to get to the food.
This reminded me of Satan and his tactics. Isn’t that like him? He is the enemy of our soul and he tries any way he can to “get to us.” While we are “under quarantine,” let’s be on guard of Satan’s relentless attacks on us: sending fear, anxiety, depression and perhaps anger and frustration. These are times that test our faith but–
“Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.” I John 4:4
“…Be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might.”
Ephesians 6:10
We may be weak, but the Lord is not!
Can this be edited?
” let’s be on guard of Stan’s relentless attacks on us: ”
I’m not the edit police but this did take away from the message. On the bright side, had to study it closer.
Thank you for sharing this Marlene! You’re giving us hope all the time.
