I’m sharing one more look at my “blessing cactus” as more buds have opened up. It’s reminds me of two wonderful songs to close out the month of November with our thoughts on gratitude. Using a few of the words of a great hymn, I want to say: “All I have needed Thy hand has provided, Great is Thy Faithfulness Lord unto me.” (by Thomas O. Chisholm))
God has never failed me and I just want to praise and exalt Him with the words from another song, “My Tribute,” (by Andrae Crouch) which express my feelings entirely.
How can I say thanks for the things You have done for me–Things so undeserved, yet you give to prove Your love for me?
The voices of a million angels could not express my gratitude–All that I am and ever hope to be, I owe it all to Thee.
To God be the glory, To God be the glory; To God be the glory for the things He has done.
With His blood He has saved me; With His pow’r He has raised me; To God be the glory For the things He has done.
My praise and thanksgiving are wrapped up with these two songs. Although my goal of a month of gratitude is over, I hope our thanksgiving will continue every day; because Great is God’s Faithfulness unto us!
