There have been times in my life that I’ve asked questions or made statements like: “I don’t know how I’m going to make it, Lord.” “I don’t know what I should do, Lord.” “I know you are in control, Lord, please show me the way to go.” And you know what? He always provided the answer because Jesus never fails. That’s what our awesome, wonderful Savior is like.
The hymn, “Jesus Never Fails,” by Arthur Luther says it all:
Earthly friends may prove untrue, Doubts and fears assail; One still loves and cares for you, One who will not fail.
Tho the sky be dark and drear, Fierce and strong the gale, Just remember He is near And He will not fail.
In life’s dark and bitter hour Love will still prevail; Trust His everlasting pow’r– Jesus will not fail.
Chorus: Jesus never fails, Jesus never fails; Heav’n and earth may pass away, But Jesus never fails.
The verse, I Thess. 5:24, was the verse my husband and I selected many years ago as our ministry verse. God was always faithful to us then and now He continues to prove this over and over again to me in my “older years.” He’ll do the same for you.
