It’s special – no doubt about it – you can’t beat the fellowship with other believers. Two weekends ago, I had a speaking engagement. I arrived on Friday afternoon to get set up; later I was introduced to the lady I was to stay with. She is a widow, as I am. We felt we had known each other for years, as over the next several hours we talked about everything, including our husbands, and laughed until we had tears streaming down our cheeks. She and I each needed that. It was so refreshing.

Yes, there is a special bond when it comes to Christians, no matter where you find them. I’m sure you have experienced it also. Aren’t you glad you’re a part of the family of God?

I’m so glad I’m a part of the fam-‘ly of God-

I’ve been washed in the fountain, cleansed by His blood!

Joint heirs with Jesus as we travel this sod;

For I’m part of the fam-‘ly, the fam-‘ly of God.
