Our holiday weekend is over, but I never tire of seeing our flag waving high or hearing our national anthem being sung. We are still the land of the free and the home of the brave. God blessed our nation from the inception and we need His blessing on our country even more today.
I love the hymn, “God Bless America.” May we sing it as a prayer asking God to bless our nation once again.

When I see the flag or hear patriotic songs my heart just swells with thanksgiving. I can’t understand how people no longer get this!!! Have generations gone by in their families where none of them fought for our country? Are they so dull that the only pride they have is in self? 😥
