Yesterday I had the privilege of attending Calvary Baptist Church in Niagara Falls (the last church my husband pastored). It was their 85th Homecoming Celebration. It was wonderful seeing several people who were under my husband’s ministry and being able to share special memories. Sadly, I learned of several who had passed away.
Looking at this cross, which is now in the front of the sanctuary, makes me realize how blessed we are. Without our Savior’s sacrifice on the cross we wouldn’t have the same wonderful fellowship with one another as we enjoy now. And for those who have “gone on before us,” we can look forward to the greatest celebration ever when we join them in heaven one day and to be with our Savior and Lord who makes this all possible.
OH, WHAT A DAY THAT WILL BE!
