It sounded like a shotgun being fired! I jumped that morning as the room suddenly became dark–the electric went off. A transformer had blown down the street. However, in seconds my generator started and I had lights once again. My stove and microwave and my garage door are not connected to that, so there were still things I couldn’t do – couldn’t cook, couldn’t get my car out to go anywhere! But many didn’t even have as much as I did.

Praise the Lord, God’s power is never ending; there is nothing that can stop it. He holds the universe together and He holds us. Whenever we are troubled or find our strength is failing because of illness or pressures and stress of some circumstances, we can call out to God who promises us that He will strengthen us. He will never fail us. Our Power Grid is God Himself. There is no such thing as a power outage with Him!
