It was instant panic when I turned on my lap top Friday morning. Nothing was booting up. The screen was black and remained so for several hours. All I could think of was a virus had taken over and perhaps I may have lost all my files and information. I finally took it to the “computer doctor!” Praise the Lord it was a simple fix and it booted up in no time.
All my anxiety and worry didn’t help a bit. But fortunately I knew to whom to take it to help resolve the problem. I just waited perhaps a little too long (for my sanity to return)!
I feel this is almost a sequel to my last two blogs. It certainly relates:
Did God know about my problem? Of course He did.
Did I get frustrated and worried? Unfortunately, yes.
Did I think to pray? Yes, but not right away.
What was I thinking? I was thinking the worst. “Everything could be gone!”
Are you like me? Do you jump to conclusions some times and think the worst? God’s desire for us is to stay calm and trust Him. Things may not always turn out the way we think they should; but it will always be God’s best way. He is in control.
“Casting all your care upon Him; for He cares for you.” I Peter 5:7
In little things and in big things we know to whom we can go. So rather than fret and worry, let’s take our burdens to the Lord right away and leave them there!
