Does Jesus care for you? Oh, yes, He cares, even about the smallest things. This past week I was chewing on a gummy vitamin when I bit down on something hard. Wondering what could be in the gummy I pulled it out of my mouth only to find a crown from one of my bottom teeth! All I could think and see at first was dollar signs! But I turned to prayer and asked God that it would be an easy fix and inexpensive. Two days later I was sitting in the dentist’s chair and hardly 20 minutes later I was checking out! The crown wasn’t damaged and could be reused and the cost – $0. God is so good!

Some may say God had nothing to do with that but I certainly disagree with that opinion. Nothing is too small to take to the Lord in prayer. Don’t ever feel like you can’t “bother the Lord with trivial things.” Nothing is trivial to Him. Today think about this second verse of “What a Friend We Have in Jesus.”

Have we trials and temptations? Is their trouble anywhere? We should never be discouraged, take it to the Lord in prayer. Can we find a friend so faithful Who will all our sorrows share? Jesus knows our every weakness, Take it to the Lord in prayer.
