“How can this be?” I thought. “I’ve been using this same password for a long time and never had an issue.” That was true until one day two weeks ago, when I was denied access to my web site where I add my blog. Blood pressure up? Probably! Frustration? Oh, definitely! Add some tears? Uh huh! Finally remembered to “cry out to the Lord!” He wouldn’t deny access!
Aren’t you thankful for that? Jesus opened the door to heaven with his death, burial and resurrection. There is no need to rely on anyone else to pray for us. We have direct access to the Heavenly Father and He tells us, “Let us therefore, come boldly before the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” Heb. 4:16. No user name; no password needed. We won’t be denied. He already knows our name and He knows and cares about our needs and trials even before we bring them. What I need to remember is not to get “bent out of shape,” and get frustrated and worried; but to trust that “He’s got it!” He’ll work things out (and He did).
How about you? Before you let your emotions and frustrations put you in a downward spin, remember, you also have access. God says:
“Call unto me, and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things, which you know not.”
Jer. 33:3.
