Friday has always been my grocery shopping day. (I don’t want to address the increase of prices as we all know what that means)! The first section I walk into as I enter the store is the fruit and veggies. Just the variety of colors makes everything tantalizing. But I happen to like salad, so I spend time deciding which variety of lettuce to buy and which veggies will be the best in my salad. Then, of course, there’s the dressing. It’s just a matter of preference, but that’s what makes it so yummy.
I want to put together another salad – a spiritual salad made with some “LET US!” Here’s the recipe.
Into our bowl add the following:
“Let Us” – Praise the Lord — Bow down and worship — Be thankful in all things — Serve the Lord with gladness — Give with a joyful spirit — Rejoice in the Lord always — Pray without ceasing — Seek those things that are above — Put off the old man and put on the new man — Read the Word every day — Walk in the Spirit — Grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ — Look for His coming — Be kind to one another
For our “Dressing” mix grace, mercy, and love together and pour it over liberally. It’s a “salad” that will draw others to want to partake of, too.
I hope you will make this a part of your steady diet.
