This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it! It’s a great way to start your day; but is it the easiest thing for you to say(or sing) the first thing in the morning, especially if you are going through some difficult days? Probably not.
As I am writing today, my prayer is that each of you will be encouraged, strengthened, helped and perhaps find some peace. I can only share what I know to be true in my own life and share what our almighty, awesome God can do for you. I am drawn back so many times to the name of God found in Genesis, chapter 1, verse 1 – the name Elohim, which means the Strong Faithful one. He has proven over and over again to me all that this name means. He has never failed me. The verse in the picture above is another assurance to us that God will do all that He says He will. Whatever promises He has made in the Bible He will fulfill. Whatever need you have today, you can claim his promises from the word and KNOW that He will keep it.
Perhaps the following can also be a little help for you to get through your day: Remember the word A-C-T-S
A – rm yourself with the Word of God
C – ome before the Lord in prayer
T – ake what you have learned with you and
S – hare it!
May God bless you on this “Day that the Lord has made”!
