I needed to get to the store Friday after the ice storm had settled down. However, when I pushed the button to open my garage, the door was frozen shut. I found a metal rod and chipped the ice away from the bottom of the door for the next several minutes. It wasn’t an easy job. For a few moments it was disconcerting to think I couldn’t get my car out.
Have you ever felt frozen in a certain situation and felt there was no way out? God often shows us “the tool” we need to get out. We just need to find that “metal rod” and start chipping away at the “ice” that has us frozen in place. Prayer is the biggest tool we have when we are afraid and don’t know what to do, but God will also give us the strength we need to persevere until we’re “unfrozen!”
