There will always be wars and rumors of war. The price of freedom is never free. Our country wouldn’t be the same if it hadn’t been for the thousands who gave their lives so that we could be free. We honor and remember them today – may we never forget their sacrifice.

I also want to honor the One who sacrificed so much for us so we could be free from sin and death – the Lord Jesus Christ. I remember the day I called out to Him and He saved me. He made me free. How about you? I pray that one of your remembrances is also the day you trusted Jesus as your Savior. That’s the greatest freedom of all.
