I love the spring time, I enjoy the beauty of so many different flowers and flowering bushes and trees. Finally, this weekend I was able to get some of my own planted. One of my yearly choices are the Marigolds. The variety of their colors simply make me happy. They are also one of the few flowers that my deer visitors won’t eat and they help to keep them away from some of my other plants. I’ve learned that marigolds planted alongside vegetables can be a benefit to those plants, too. They are also edible and can be eaten raw or added to soups and salads.
Where does God have you planted? What kind of a flower are you? What talents and abilities has He given you that can be used to benefit others or encourage them? I bet the more you think about it, the more you will find that God has given you and He wants you to use them for His glory. Just remember: we may plant, others may water, but God is the one who will bring the increase.
