“The shepherds said to one another; ‘Let us go to Bethlehem to see this thing that has come to pass, which the Lord has made known to us.’ And they came with haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the Babe lying in a manger.” Luke 2:15,16.

Can you imagine being one of those shepherds who received the wonderful news from the angels and then found that babe in a manger? It’s the greatest news the world has ever heard.

The birth of a baby is one of the most exciting events, but this birth was like no other. The Son of God was born. He is Emmanuel (God with us). This child is the Savior of the world!

May your Christmas day be filled with rejoicing and celebration for what God has given to the world–given to you. Have you received this wonderful gift of salvation that Jesus brought to us?
