This leaf caught my eye last week while I was outside. Those “Big Eyes” and little round mouth. A cat, of course! Can you see it, or do you see just a dried up old leaf?
What about in real life situations? When something difficult crosses our path, do we instantly see only the bad (the dried up leaf) or do we see some “cat eyes” (see it as an opportunity to grow our spiritual life?)
We can do the same thing in regard to people. What we all need to do is look more for the good rather than the bad in all situations or in people.
“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report, if there be any virtue, and it there be any praise, think on these things.” Phil. 4:8
Perhaps this verse will help us to check our attitude this week.
