It reminds me how life can seem peaceful and quiet at times and then all of a sudden it can come crashing down like a thunderous waterfall.
In Psalm 23:2 God says, “..he leads me beside still waters.”
Psalm 4:1-3 says, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountain shake with the swelling thereof.”
So, no matter if your waters are still and calm or you are in the midst of troubling water, a few verses later we are told, “Be still and know that I am God.”
Always remember: God is there!
