Weddings! They are beautiful, aren’t they? My granddaughter’s last weekend was no different. The weather was beautiful, the venue was beautiful and of course, the bride, too. I couldn’t help but think of my own so many years ago and the 51 years God gave me with my husband. My prayer is that not only my granddaughter and her husband, but all of my grandchildren and great grandchildren will see the same number of years and more with their spouses.
Should that happen, it will be the exception rather than the rule because, unfortunately, there are so many temptations today to just walk away when things are tough, rather than stay and fight for a marriage and family and stay committed “no matter what!”
Satan is trying to destroy marriages and families like never before. Don’t let him play games with your mind. Be willing to forgive and forget – not just your spouse, but any other family member that may be estranged. Let’s show Satan that he is not going to have victory in your marriage or with other family members, because “Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.” I John 4:4.
Be the Exception!
