There she was–dancing in the sunshine after so many cloudy days had kept her standing still. My little colorful, plastic daisy was saying, not only “spring is here,” but saying something else: she won’t be alone in my sunroom much longer. My real plants will be joining her soon–filling up the corner where they will reside through the coming warm months. What a happy event that will be. I can’t wait!
Through the winter months we often anticipate the coming of spring and summer. We can’t wait for the “chill” to be gone. In reality I’m anticipating a greater event and I hope you are, too. I’m so tired of the “chills” of sin in our world–
–of hatred and lies
–of stealing and murders
–of riots and destruction
–of war and lives changed forever
God said all these things would get worse before He comes back. So, how much worse does it have to get? Seems to me, it’s got to be pretty close, don’t you think?
O what a wonderful day it will be–Jesus is coming again! It may be soon. (See I Thess. 4:16,17)
