Why was the floor wet around my washer/dryer in the basement; why was there water on top of the dryer and splashes of water on other items nearby? With flashlight in hand, all pipes looked dry until I turned on my faucets in my kitchen sink and down in the basement water gushed out above the dryer. A call to the experts solved the mystery. A plugged line and a different cracked pipe was causing water to back up and spray out rather than going down the drain.

Have you ever wondered why all of a sudden you find yourself doing something you normally wouldn’t do, or letting words pour out of your mouth that you normally wouldn’t say? Perhaps little by little you’ve allowed some sin to block your relationship with the Lord and reading His word. In reality you have quenched the Spirit of God.

It’s no mystery as to how to unplug the problem and let things flow once again. You simply call on the Expert, the Lord Jesus Christ:

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” I John 1:9

“Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts; And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” Psalm 139:23,24

Plugged pipes are not a pretty picture, physically or spiritually!
