All my plants are still enjoying the sunshine in my sunroom. But it won’t be too far down the calendar that I’ll have to bring them in to another part of my house as I don’t keep the temperature very warm out there thru the winter months. I do have 2 plants that will remain as they are hardy and can withstand colder temperatures.
How about you? Could you be considered a “hardy Christian?” Can you stand your ground and remain faithful even when others may be caving in and looking for more favorable circumstances or conditions and running away even from the Lord?
God never said the Christian life was easy. Most of us can attest to that. What He does say is that He will always be with us. He will never forsake us. So when the “temperatures of life” threaten to take you into a deep freeze and turn you from the Lord, chose to stand firm and faithful through those “winter moments” and know your hope is in the Lord who gave Himself for you.
Great is Your faithfulness. “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul. “Therefore I hope in Him!” Lamentations 3:23b, 24
You are in good hands; faithful hands; and we need to be faithful to Him in return.
