I was later than usual getting my vegetable garden planted this year. My brother, Mel, got it tilled for me and I then laid out my plan of attack for planting and got it done before the rain came.
I’m always reminded of the verses:
“Who then is Paul and who is Apollos, but ministers through whom you believed, as the Lord gave to each one? I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. So then neither he who plant is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase.” I Cor. 3:5-7
As for my garden, I may have planted it, but God definitely waters it and brings the increase (the harvest) for which I am always grateful.
Spiritually, we are either planters or those who water. God uses us for His purpose and He will bring the increase in His time. We just need to remain faithful. We know that God will be faithful in producing what He wants through us.
It’s exciting anticipating the harvest.
