Pain – A Reminder

For which cause we faint not

Pain isn’t fun, is it?  Many of you (including myself) are dealing with some sort of it right now. Mine is in my right arm.  It’s been 3 months since my shoulder surgery for a torn rotor cuff but issues have been getting worse with the muscles in my arm.  Physical therapy doesn’t seem to be helping (at least as quickly as I had hoped).  I’ve had to guard my thoughts and attitude in relation to the whole thing and remind myself daily of some precious verses.

For which cause we faint not; but though our outward  man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.  For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, works for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.              II Cor. 4:16-18

Be encouraged, there is coming a better day; if not in this  life time; in the one to come.

KEEP TRUSTING JESUS.
