You’d think after three weeks with my right arm in a sling I would have a better handle on using my left hand. Oh, I have been managing, but I still find myself chasing the last few Cheerios around my cereal bowl, until I give up and pick up the bowl and slurp up the last few floaters! But isn’t it funny; though this may seem petty and hard for me to do, a regular left-handed person would have no trouble.
Life throws at us all difference kinds of trials; some big, some small. Some people can seem to handle about anything while others struggle and want to give up. We are all different, but we all need to rely upon the LORD for our strength and help for the big things as well as the small and even when it seems we are “chasing Cheerios” around in a circle; just don’t give up. God will send a solution.
“The righteous cry and the LORD hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. The LORD is near to them that are of a broken heart; and saves such as be of a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivers him out of them all.” Psalm 34: 17-19
